Our vision is an Ireland where every social problem is solved quickly and effectively.
In order to achieve our vision, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland supports high potential social entrepreneurs to solve Ireland’s social problems.

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland also adheres to the Principles of Good Governance to ensure the highest level of support is provided to our Awardees and other Social Entrepreneurs throughout Ireland and that we are fully accountable for any and all resources expended through our work.
When We Started
Social Entrepreneurs Ireland was founded as a programme of The One Foundation in 2004. In January 2007, in order to allow continued expansion of our activities, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland was setup as an independent organisation.
