Cycling Without Age is a movement started in 2012 by Ole Kassow

Cycling Without Age is based on a worldwide initiative that gives nursing home residents an opportunity to have a safe, slow bicycle ride through their neighbourhoods and locality on a Danish-built rickshaw piloted by a volunteer cyclist. This outdoor activity coupled with the company of their volunteer pilot can lead to memory stimulation, active citizenship, the building of new relationships and connecting older people to their communities.

"SEI has given us a name for what we are doing - social entrepreneurship - and recognised that our work is valuable"

Founder of Cycling Without Age Ireland
