Annalisa O’Carroll is Director of Impact with Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. Her focus is the design and delivery of the Awards Programme to provide tailored business, networking and financial support to early stage social entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, Annalisa co-founded an e-learning company, Educational Multimedia Group overseeing the design and development of award-winning e-learning products. Following an MBA in 2002, Annalisa joined Salesforce.com where she set up the Education Services team for EMEA as Director of Education Services.
In 2007, Annalisa left Salesforce.com to fulfil a long-held ambition to travel across South America, where she participated in several environmental and educational volunteer projects. On her return in 2008, keen to pursue her interests in entrepreneurship and the not-for-profit sector she found the perfect combination in Social Entrepreneurs Ireland.
Annalisa holds an MBA from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD, and a BA in Computer Science, Linguistics and French from Trinity College Dublin.
