Michelle O’Donnell Keating is an Impact Programme Consultant. Her focus is supporting Impact awardees on the scaling of their organisations in order to drive maximum impact.
Passionate about bringing change where needed, Michelle was an Impact awardee herself in 2011 as co-founder of Women for Election. Prior to Women for Election, Michelle spent almost 17 years in the Financial Services and IT sectors focusing primarily in the area of multinational project management and change management, leading and implementing organizational change for blue-chip organisations in Ireland, UK and Australia while combining this with political interests in her spare time. In 2011, Michelle combined her work on Women for Election with a PhD and lecturing in International Relations and International Political Economy at DCU. In addition to winning the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Impact Award in 2011, Michelle is a recipient of the 2015 Image Business Woman of the Year (Social Entrepreneur Category), the 2014 DCU President’s award for Civic Engagement, and a finalist, Women Mean Business, Newstalk Social Entrepreneur Awards 2012 & 2014.
Michelle holds an MA in International Relations from DCU a BSc in Business from University Central England and is currently a PhD candidate in DCU examining the impact of IMF Policy upon Women.
