At Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, we are committed to accelerated social change through the power of people. Through the Action Lab our aim is to do just that. We are focused on supporting the strategic progress of high potential solutions and helping social entrepreneurs to develop as leaders by supporting each of them to tackle prominent challenges they are facing.

The Action Lab, as part of our Early-Stage Programmatic Supports, will take place from 17th October until 12th December 2024. The two-month programme will provide consultation, mentorship, workshopping and will maximise the expertise available within our network to help each participant progress towards achieving tangible impact.

What support is given to this year’s Action Lab participants?

A business grant ranging from €1,000-€5,000 will be awarded to each project on the Action Lab. In addition to financial support, participants will benefit from the expertise of our community.

This year’s programme includes key workshops and opportunities including:

  • Impact Measurement
  • Leadership Training
  • Fundraising Workshop
  • A&L Goodbody Legal Clinic

Over the two months, Eabha Harper McKeever, Early-Stage Programme Manager will facilitate group discussions surrounding challenges or opportunities identified by programme participants. This will create a space to share experiences, learn from each other and provide support to other social entrepreneurs on the programme.

Alongside these group sessions, each participant will be matched with a sector expert mentor who will provide personalised guidance in the specific areas where they need support.
