Transform Programme

Are you a social entrepreneur who is ready to meaningfully and fundamentally change the social problem you are tackling at a national level?

The Transform Programme is a 12-month programme for social entrepreneurs who are ready to meaningfully and fundamentally change the social problem at a national level. We create conditions for social entrepreneurs to thrive and we nurture that potential through coaching, mentorship, peer support, consultancy, pro-bono expertise and seed funding.

The programme focuses on the social entrepreneurs developing their leadership, building key capacity in the organisation and understanding the system that they operate in so that they can begin to take action towards social, cultural and systems change.

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland meets the social entrepreneur where they are at. We seek to understand a social entrepreneurs starting point and we co-design the pathway of support with them ensuring it is social entrepreneur and impact led. Key to this are our discovery sessions with the social entrepreneurs at the beginning of the programme to deep dive into their work and to design their goals. These goals are delivered through a mix of one-to-one support, bespoke consultancy and co-designed group learning.

These sessions and supports are facilitated by members of the SEI team with have experience in group facilitation and coaching. We also draw on the expertise of our wider community including our supporters, fellow support organisations, partners, funders, sector expert consultants and alumni who add richness and value to our work.

For social entrepreneurs on their journey towards Transformational change, they are guided to:

• Developing their Leadership: Through one-to-one supports and leadership coaching we will give the social entrepreneurs the tools they need to grow into this new phase and to increase their self-efficacy. They will receive mentorship in areas such as systems change and advocacy.
• Building Capacity: We support organisational capacity building such as Impact Management, Strategic Planning, Communications and funding. We work with the social entrepreneur to develop this capacity allowing them to step into their role as transformational leader.
• Creating a network: Social entrepreneurs will be supported to better understand the system they are operating in and their role in it. We work with them to build relationships with stakeholders and provide them with the tools to increase their understanding of how to bring about long-lasting change.

A minimum of 5-6 days over 12 months. This time commitment may increase somewhat throughout the programme depending on the level of supports required. 

Social entrepreneurs receive a minimum of €20,000 over the 12 months.
